Within the framework of the Jan Karski Program for Young Georgian Leaders 2023, Nikoloz Khatiashvili has delivered a public lecture

Within the framework of the Jan Karski Program for Young Georgian Leaders 2023, Nikoloz Khatiashvili, the Geocase foreign policy research fellow and international secretary, has delivered a public lecture.


The lecture was held at Ilia State University and it discussed the issues of Georgia's foreign policy, the implementation of 12 European Union recommendations, and Russian disinformation.


Nikoloz Khatiashvili spoke about the threats and challenges facing the country in light of regional and global developments, he focused on the trends of Russian disinformation, its impact and the ways to tackle it. During the discussions, Mr Khatiashvili reviewed the status of the implementation of 12 recommendations by the European Union and yet again emphasized the strategic importance of Georgia's integration into the European Union for the stable and peaceful development of the country.
