Geocase hosted H.E. Ran Gidor, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Georgia 

Victor Kipiani, Chairman of Geocase, has invited H.E. Mr Ran Gidor, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Georgia, to meet and deliver a lecture for the Geocase training course students.


Victor Kipiani opened the event, thanked the special guest, and in his welcome speech emphasized the significance of the meeting.  


“Today along with these young people, we are honored to host you at the Geocase offices and are delighted by this opportunity to discuss extremely interesting topics. Youth engagement in the discussions is also very important. Similar events are planned to be held in terms of our training course in future,”- noted Victor Kipiani.


During his lecture, H.E. Ran Gidor spoke about Israel’s foreign policy, domestic developments, and security issues. The event turned out to be very engaging, the students showed great interest and took active participation in the discussions. The questions they asked the Ambassador mainly concerned Israel's experience in the fight against terrorism, the country’s successful economic, educational, and healthcare policies as well as the prospects for further development of economic relations between Israel and Georgia. 


The Geocase training course - ‘Foreign Policy and Security' - commenced on April 1, 2021. Undergraduate and graduate students from six different universities of Georgia are enrolled in the program.
