Victor Kipiani to Visit Israel for Discussions on Regional Policy and Bilateral Cooperation

Victor Kipiani, Chairman of Geocase, will undertake a visit to the State of Israel to gain deeper insights into recent developments in the Gaza Strip and the broader Middle East, Israel’s regional policies, its perspectives on Georgia. The visit also aims to promote cooperation between scholars and academic communities of the two countries to better understand how to advance bilateral relations between Israel and Georgia.
 

During his visit, Mr. Kipiani will meet with a range of prominent Israeli figures, including:
 

- Ambassador Walid Abu Haya, Israel’s incoming Ambassador to Georgia;
 

- Ambassador Mark Regev, Chairman of the Abba Eban Institute for Diplomacy and Foreign Relations at Reichman University. Ambassador Regev previously served as Israel’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom (2016–2020) and as the Prime Minister’s Senior Advisor for Foreign Affairs and International Communications;
 

- Professor Eitan Shamir, Head of the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies (BESA), one of Israel’s leading think tanks specializing in national security, foreign policy, and regional strategy;
 

- Officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel.
 

The purpose of the visit is to engage in substantive dialogue on Israel’s policies toward the broader region and Georgia, while also identifying new opportunities to further strengthen Georgia-Israel relations. Discussions will span mutual interests in foreign policy, security cooperation, academic exchange, and innovation.
